Ryan “Kody” Jones is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina, where he joined the firm in 2005. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 with a B.S. in Biology; and earned his masters degree in Microbiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2002. He was awarded his Juris Doctor from the Franklin Pierce Law Center, cum laude, in 2005.

He is a member of the State Bar of North Carolina, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
